HOW TO GET THERE

From Jakarta, the easiest way to get to Belitung is by plane. There are several daily flights from Sriwijaya Air and Batavia Air that depart from Soekarno Hatta Airport directly to HAS Hanandjoeddin in Tanjungpandan, Belitung. Flight will take approximately 45 minutes.
You can also use the sea route by passenger ships of PELNI or Tristar ferry from Tanjung Priok port, Jakarta. Keep in mind that the ship only serves travel to Belitung once every 2 weeks. The journey will take about 24 hours.

Taman Sari Sultan Palace: Exploring Water Castle Coolness

Taman Sari is divided into 4 sections:
1.   The first part is an artificial lake that is located in west side.
2.   The second part is building which is located in south of artificial lake, among others Baths Bannerman Binangun.
3.   The third part is Pasarean Ledok Sari and Swimming Garjitawati located in southern part of second part.
4.   The fourth Part extends from Bannerman baths Binangun until Pasarean Ledok Sari and Garjitawati pool, an artificial lake with an island and a suspension bridge and canal.
From four existing complex in Taman Sari, only Umbul Binangun are still intact, while the other three parts are already a township resident who was men of Sultan Palace.

Gumuling wells consist of two floors, the first floor is for men, while the second floor is for women.

4.    The Fourth Layer
There is “Court of Sri Manganti” and Sri Manganti ward that used for waiting room before meet the king. In this ward there is “Trajumas ward” located on north side Kemagangan. This hall is designated as a last transit point to the center of Palace.
5.    The Fifth Layer
The final layer is center of concentric contained Kedhaton yard. The building layout consists of Tratag, pendhopo and pringgitan.

HOW TO GET THERE?

To get to Yogyakarta palace is very easy, because it is located right in city center. The palace front yard is Yogyakarta North Square and palace backyard is Yogyakarta South Square.
To visit the Sultan Palace, there are two entrances counters, namely “Tepas Keprajuritan” (Front North Square) and second entrance in “Tepas Tourism” (Regol Keben). HISTORY

Origin name of Malioboro has two versions. First, the name is taken from Sanskrit, meaning “bouquet”.
